Privacy Policy

For the "TI Interiors" mobile app (package com.tiinteriors.app) · Effective 18 October 2026 · Updated 19 October 2026

TI Interiors ("we", "us") designs and builds home interiors in Chennai, India. This policy explains what information the TI Interiors app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your information and the app shows no advertisements.

Who uses the app

Homeowners (My Home) whose residence is being designed by TI Interiors.
TI Studio users: our craftsmen, site team and administrators.
Guests who explore design ideas without an account.

The app is intended for people aged 18 and over.

Information we collect

Account details: name, title (Mr./Mrs.), email address, mobile number and, for team members, trade. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password in readable form.
Project information: your residence name and address, project stages, selections, documents, weekly reports and service requests that TI Interiors adds or that you submit.
Photos and videos: a profile photo if you add one, photos and short videos you attach to service requests or notes, and site photos and videos taken by our team.
Messages, notes and voice notes: questions you write in "My Questions & Notes", the replies from our team, service-request descriptions and, for team members, leave requests. If you record a voice note, the audio is stored with that note. If you use "Speak to type", your phone's speech-recognition service turns your speech into text; this may be processed by your device's speech provider (for example Google).
Location (team members only): when a TI team member checks in or out at a site, the phone's precise location is used once to confirm they are at the site. We do not track location in the background, and homeowners' location is not collected.
Notification token: a device identifier from Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you project notifications.
Feature usage counts: simple counts of how often features are used (for example, how often a card is opened) to improve the app. These are counts only, not tracking across other apps.
Giving choices: if you tap a giving cause (for example a meal, drinking water or feeding a cow with Thaagam Foundation), we record which cause you opened and when. When you come back to the app we may ask whether you completed the gift; if you choose to answer, we keep your answer, the amount and any receipt screenshot you add, so we can thank you. Any donation is paid on Thaagam Foundation's own website; we never see your card or bank details.

How we use it

To let you log in and to show your own project to you.
To send notifications and emails about your project (for example a new stage, a site visit, a report or a password reset).
To manage site attendance and labour records for our team.
To answer your questions and service requests.
To keep the app secure and to improve it.

Who processes your information

We use trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging), with our project hosted in the Mumbai region (asia-south1), India.
Brevo, to send account emails such as welcome and password-reset emails.

Within TI Interiors, a homeowner's project is visible only to that homeowner and to our administrators. Team members see only the projects assigned to them, and only the details needed to do the work (such as the site location and working drawings). Private notes are visible only to you; notes you choose to share are visible to our administrators. We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.

Security

All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is controlled by account roles and server-side security rules. Quick unlock (fingerprint, face or phone PIN) is handled by your phone and is optional.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for your project, your TI Care period and our legal and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

Deleting your TI Interiors app account and data

This section applies to the TI Interiors app on Google Play, published by TI Interiors, Chennai (Google Play developer: TI Interiors / Tamilselvan J).

You can ask us to delete your TI Interiors account and its data at any time:

Send an email from your registered email address to info@tichennaiinteriors.com with the subject "Delete my TI Interiors account".
We will confirm and delete your account, profile, notes, voice notes and photos you uploaded within 30 days.
Some records may be kept where the law requires it (for example invoices and payment records).

What is deleted: your login account, name, email, mobile number, profile photo, notes, voice notes, photos and videos you uploaded, and notification tokens.
What may be kept: invoices, payment and warranty / TI Care records, kept only as long as Indian law requires (usually up to 8 years), and then deleted.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Notes and voice notes: in the app, open My Questions & Notes, tap ⋮ on a note, then Delete. It is removed immediately.
Profile photo: Profile, tap your photo, then Remove photo.
Any other data (for example photos or project details): email info@tichennaiinteriors.com saying what you want removed. We will do it within 30 days.

You can also stop using the app at any time by logging out and uninstalling it.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to us at info@tichennaiinteriors.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
